Holed is a theatre piece, incorporating text, music and architecture. Set in a barn in the Midwest in the late 1980s, the piece exists at the heart of several intersections: where the farm crisis meets the anti-government movement, where normal people meet desperate circumstances, where the 1960s Left meets the 1990s Right, and where a causeless New Yorker meets an overburdened farm girl. This project also contains an outreach component into Austins rural and farm communities.
