People Who Fail is a brand-new script-in-progress about a family whose grown daughter Agnes suddenly begins to move backward through time. In the world of the play when a person begins to go in reverse, it is a warning that tragedy is due to befall the family within twenty-four hours. As Agnes moves backward around them, the family attempts to brace for the hammer-blow they know is coming--though they do not know in what form it will come. They communicate clumsily, as they work to mourn each other in advance.
