Go! Grant

The Go! Grants program is an exciting opportunity for students from different departments to collaborate and experiment in preparation for The University Co-op Presents the Cohen New Works Festival in 2011. Selected proposals will get a stipend to aid their process. In September 2010 grantees are asked to share a fifteen-minute process presentation, alongside a tangible “artifact” that exemplifies the process. Please use the proposal questions to help articulate your project as you understand it now. The more the Selection Committee can understand what you are trying to do, the more supportive we can be in helping you do it.

Guidelines:

  • Teams must contain members from two or more departments — Music, Architecture, Theatre and Dance, Psychology, RTF, Nursing, Sociology, Etc.
  • The work should be in the early generative stages of development, not just unproduced.
  • Projects are considered interdisciplinary when the question posed by the project requires more than one discipline to seek the answer.
  • Receipt of a grant does not insure acceptance into the Festival.
  • Applications are due by NOON ON MARCH 31, 2010. One copy emailed to 2011gogrants@gmail.com and one copy in the New Work Festival Applications Box in the Winship main office.
